If you are considering a career in cardiovascular ultrasound, earning your associate degree from Molloy University will make it happen. New York’s first and only cardiovascular technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRCCVT), at Molloy you’ll learn to perform the diagnostic, preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative techniques needed to treat and care for cardiovascular patients.

Nuclear Medicine Technology

Provide the advanced diagnostics physicians need to effectively diagnose, treat, and care for patients: Earn your bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology at Molloy University. One of the few programs in the nation that will prepare you to operate both PET/CT and SPECT/CT equipment, earning your degree here can give you greater marketability and adaptability with today’s changing healthcare technology.

Our program is one of the few in the nation that prepares graduates to take the national tomography registry exams in both nuclear medicine and computed (CT). These two certifications are required for technologists to operate PET/CT and SPECT/CT equipment.

Respiratory Care

The need for respiratory care professionals is growing. In fact, The Bureau of Labor lists respiratory care as one of the top-10 developing fields in allied health sciences. With a bachelor’s degree in respiratory care from Molloy University, you can be part of this rapidly expanding field and spend your days helping people, saving lives, and giving something back to your community.
As a licensed respiratory therapist, you will practice under the care of a physician, evaluating and treating all types of patients—from premature infants with underdeveloped lungs to elderly people whose lungs are diseased—with the skill and professionalism you acquire at Molloy.

  • A comprehensive, accredited program. The respiratory care program, which is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), you can earn your bachelor’s and be ready to enter the workforce as a healthcare professional.

  • Licensing preparation. You’ll be eligible to sit for credentialing exams to achieve licensure as a respiratory technician or respiratory therapist.
